Get Involved

As a start-up nonprofit organization, Timber Point Center welcomes community involvement. There are plenty of opportunities for you to be a part of this pioneering organization on the forefront of Biddeford’s renaissance!

Through collaboration with the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge, the Maine Historic Preservation Commission, Maine Preservation, colleges and universities, area nonprofits, local businesses, and the community, we will work in partnership to connect people to each other, and to the environment, thereby strengthening our communities, and the natural world, of which we are a part.

Bring your ideas, skills, and experience to the work of shaping the future of Timber Point Center as a premier meeting and retreat space. We are looking for assistance in the following areas, but we’d be thrilled for you to be involved in lots of other ways as well.

  • Conservation Education
  • Community Sustainability Education
  • Organization Development
  • Fundraising/Grant Writing
  • Community Outreach
  • Marketing
  • General Contracting
  • Garden Design and Layout
